Migrationization AU ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our") is an independent migration data intelligence and analytical platform developed, hosted, and operated by KushTech Solutions (founded by Kushal Pokhrel). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, handle, store, and safeguard your personal information when you access our website, use our visa pathway calculators, interact with Migry AI, or register for an account on the Platform.

2. Compliance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs)

As an Australian-focused technology platform, we are committed to upholding the 13 Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) established under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) as well as international privacy standards (including applicable GDPR principles of transparency, data minimization, and user erasure rights).

3. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with Migrationization AU, we process information in the following ways:

A. Anonymous / Guest Browsing (No Account Required)

You can freely browse skilled occupation lists, assess state nomination quotas, explore SkillSelect EOI trend insights, and calculate indicative General Skilled Migration (GSM) points without creating an account or providing your name, phone number, or government identifiers. When using tools as a guest, your search criteria and points inputs are processed locally in your browser and are not transmitted to or stored in our persistent relational database.

B. Optional User Account Registration

If you voluntarily create a user account to sync your migration preferences and bookmarks across devices, we collect:

• Identity & Contact: First name, last name, and email address.
• Authentication Credentials: Securely salted cryptographic password hashes (we never store plain-text passwords).
• Migration Profile Data (Voluntary): Age bracket, English language proficiency tier, highest educational qualification, STEM specialization, Australian & overseas work experience duration, Australian study length, regional study status, Professional Year completion, NAATI CCL accreditation, partner skills status, onshore/offshore location, preferred target states, target visa subclasses (189, 190, 491, 482, 186), and primary ANZSCO occupation code.
• Saved Bookmarks: ANZSCO occupation codes and pathways you choose to pin to your User Dashboard.

C. Technical & Operational Metadata

To protect against cyber attacks, automated abuse, and distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) threats, our edge infrastructure (Cloudflare) automatically records transient server request logs, including IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, country-level geolocation, and timestamps.

4. Processing of Information by Migry AI Assistant

When you submit queries to Migry AI, our interactive assistant leverages Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) powered by Cloudflare Workers AI infrastructure to provide real-time information based strictly on verified Australian Government occupation and SkillSelect datasets.

• Stateless Processing: AI queries are processed transiently in real time to generate contextual responses. Your queries are not permanently stored in training corpora or used to train third-party public machine learning models.
• Sensitive Data Advisory: You must NEVER enter sensitive personal identifiers (such as passport numbers, visa grant numbers, Tax File Numbers [TFN], National ID cards, or financial details) into the AI assistant chat.

5. How We Use Your Information

We strictly use collected information for the following legitimate purposes:

• Providing, operating, and maintaining your personal User Dashboard and saved occupation bookmarks.
• Sending essential transactional service communications (such as welcome notifications upon registration via Resend API).
• Calculating indicative points scores based on your voluntary profile inputs.
• Detecting, preventing, and mitigating fraudulent access, credential stuffing, or server abuse.

6. Data Security & Cryptographic Architecture

We implement industry-grade technical and organizational security controls to protect your data. Passwords are hashed using unique, cryptographically secure 16-byte pseudo-random hexadecimal salts combined with Web Crypto SHA-256 digests. Database transactions are isolated on Cloudflare D1 distributed serverless SQL databases with mandatory TLS 1.3 encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest.

7. Cookies & Local Storage Usage

Migrationization AU does not employ invasive tracking cookies or third-party advertising pixels. We utilize standard browser localStorage purely to remember your UI display preferences (Dark Mode / Light Mode), language choice, and active authentication session token (migry_token) so you do not have to re-enter your credentials on every page visit.

8. Self-Service Account Deletion & Data Erasure (APP 12 & 13)

You retain complete ownership over your personal data. In accordance with Australian Privacy Principle 12 & 13 and modern privacy standards, you can permanently and irrevocably delete your account, saved profile, occupation bookmarks, and active sessions at any time with a single click inside your User Dashboard (under Account Settings → Delete Account Permanently). Deletion cascades through all database tables immediately.

9. External Government & Third-Party Links

Our platform references and links to official Australian Commonwealth and State/Territory government portals (such as the Department of Home Affairs, Jobs and Skills Australia, TRA, ACS, VETASSESS, Engineers Australia, and State migration authorities). We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or cookie policies of these external government and assessing bodies.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect platform enhancements or changes in applicable migration data standards. The most current version will always be published on this page with the revision date prominently displayed at the top.
